What is Save the Date Etiquette?
“Save the date” etiquette is the set of rules that dictate when and how you should send out your save the dates.
The general rule of thumb is to send out your save the dates 6-8 months before your wedding day. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. If you are planning a destination wedding, you’ll want to send out your save the dates 8-10 months in advance. This will give your guests plenty of time to make travel arrangements.
